The artist's journey
Between music and paint
I come from a typical middle class Indian family, born and brought up in the beautiful town of Dehradun in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand. My education at the National Institute of Design laid the foundation for my creative career, while my training in Indian Classical music on the sitar has deeply influenced my sensibilities as a painter.
Having exhibited at prestigious galleries like the Jehangir Art Gallery in Bombay, my work continues to explore the autobiographical nature of art, transforming personal psychological experiences into universal visual narratives.
